The golf tournament was held at Troy Burne in Hudson and the participants were employees, customers, and vendors of NetApp. Our job was to follow Bert and his driver around the course and photograph Bert with all of the groups playing in the tournament. Circle Me Bert...
Little did we know when contacted about a month ago to provide golf tournament photos for a corporate event that we would experience a highlight of 10 years in our sports and event photography business! NetApp was hosting a golf tournament celebrating their 10 years in business and Bert Blyleven was the guest of honor. I'm sure most of you know that Bert was a former Minnesota Twins pitcher and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this summer. He played on the 1987 World Series team, is a home town favorite and currently provides commentary for home Twin games. His "Circle Me Bert" campaign which raises funds for Parkinson's disease and other charitable organizations is wildly popular.
